Re: hotel recommendatios for Ocean City, MD?
We've gone to OC every year for like 10 years now and always choose to rent a condo over a hotel. This works out well because we go with more than 4 people and get multiple bedrooms, bathrooms and a full kitchen.
We use CBVacations.com to book it.
As far as hotels go, my SIL can't stop raving about the HIlton on the boardwalk. The other nicer places tend to be pretty far down in the 100th blocks and "away from the action"

Re: hotel recommendatios for Ocean City, MD?
We just came back on Saturday and rented a condo through Coldwell Banker...on the boardwalk, the Commander is nice, the Holiday Inn is beautiful. I have heard that the Hilton is nice, but never made it down far enough to see it...depending on how long you are staying, we found that our condo was the same price as staying in a hotel for the week and it had much more room and a kitchen.

The Princess Royale is very nice too--but
I agree--you want to stay at a hotel on the higher numbered streets---the ones right on the boardwalk are older (most)
Have fun! We went for our first time ever this year and stayed with a friend who has an apt there...but checked out Princess Royale for when my family goes down
