Hotels in Rome
We are planning a trip to Israel in late September with a 3-4 day layover in Rome.
Can anyone recommend a nice, reasonably priced hotel?

We stayed at Hotel Diana (hoteldianaroma.com). It was very reasonable, walkable to all main attractions, and fairly nice.

I loved our hotel in Rome - I've actually stayed there twice! It was nice in 2005, but it was VERY nice in 2007. They renovated a lot, improved the restaurant/bar areas, etc. Great location too - walking distance to everything except the Vatican (unless you like long walks!)
Hotels.com has a decent price, but I got a better price by emailing the hotel directly.
