How Am I Supposed To Check My Credit Report
on FreeCreditReport.com if I don't have a credit card?
They want a credit card # but I don't have a credit card.
I'm confused. Isn't is FREE credit report.com?

Do you have a debit/credit card?
I am pretty sure they just use that if you check it more than once a year. Or if you are stupid like my husband and sign up for some crazy services they offer.

Use www.annualcreditreport.com. The other one is a site that you pay a monthly fee to. This one is the true free credit report website.

Yup. Freecreditreport.com ironically costs you $15 a month. Annualcreditreport.com is the free one you're entitled to check once a year.

I went to this one and only one out of the three reports I could see would let me in and it didn't give me a score.
One wanted me to pay and the other couldn't verify my identity.
BTW, the report that I did see, has my birthday as 1/15/1983 and I was born in 82

your score and report are two different things....
you want to make your sure your report is correct in temrs of outstanding accounts, number of defaults, etc...
if you are looking for a score, you will pay for it or whatever your trying to obtain, they will run your credit for you at the time of application. If you are in good standing and your debt to income is ok, you should have a good credit score.

my husband and i belong to truecredit.com
we get to check all 3 reports for each of us every mont
totally not a waste because they update you every time there is ANY change to your accounts -
in the cyber world of identity theft, I think it's worth it
