How am I supposed to take care of DS and be sick at the same time?
DS generously gave DH and I the stomach virus he had over the weekend. DH has been vomiting all day and is in bed. While I'm not vomiting, I'm in and out of the bathroom with the feeling that I'm going to vomit. Not to mention the sweats.
We called my IL's to see if they can get DS and keep him for the night but they aren't answering the phone. My mom has an event at work tonight and can't watch him. How am I gonna do this???

My husband is in the process of dropping our DS over at my Mom's because I am sick. Also with tummy issues. But I think it is something I ate. DH is on call for work, so he can't watch him. Hope you all feel better soon...

It stinks to be sick with a child. The last time I was sick with DS, I basically had to plunk him in front of the TV a lot. It's not ideal, but I didn't know how else to cope.
But if you can get a family member to take care of DC, that would be best.

Ugh---sorry, feel better soon! We went thru this with DS, he got the stomach bug and then got better and DH & I got hit hard with it. I agree with the AP, we had to use the TV. I have no family in the area to take him and didn't want to get anyone else sick. It was temporary, but it was the only thing that worked to let me rest as much as possible. Feel better

that is the worst... dh, ds, and i had it last january and i could barely move... so i called my mother who was about to come over and it hit her... then my father was gonna come and it hit him... ds watched alot of tv and i had the bouncy seat in my bathroom (he was 4 months old).... when i got preg and ds was 8 months old i had toys in the bathroom for when i had m/s

I know how you feel....I had the swine flu and had to take care of my DS since my DH is still in NY while I am in NC
