How are parking lots (and sidestreets) today in regards to ice?
Are they a sheet of ice still? I want to go food shopping but don't want to deal with an ice skating rink.

Side streets are fine but there is still a bit of ice in the parking lots... but from what I experienced today it was just in spots- not a whole sheet like it was yesterday.
You should be fine.

I found the streets to be much better. The sidewalk and curbs seem to be the worst.
