How can I give DS his flouride vitamins when the package says....
it has to be given 2 hours before or after any product that contains magnesium.....his formula has magnesium and he eats every 3 hours.  Anyone know the reason why? When do you give it to your LO?

I guess I never read all of the instructions bc I never noticed that. I just give it to the boys before bed.

I saw the same thing on the instructions but my ped said it was fine....he even suggested putting the vitamins right in the bottle if she didnt like the taste.

ok cool, I just googled it to find out why and it looks like it just decreases the effectiveness of the flouride. I thought there was a more serious reason!

Yes I saw that and calcium.
Umm,. that's all she drinks.
I just started giving it to her at bedtime- but she does have a bottle before bed.
Not much I can do about it.

It was impossible to avoid when he was really young. I just gave it to him about an hour after bfst/bottle. Figured that was the best I could do, and some vitamin was better than none.
