How can you remove paint from wood floors?
The painter left some remants of his work on my floors and I want to remove the paint. I would need something pretty mild because the floor is old! Any suggestions?

Are they wood floors?
I just used a damp paper towel and my thumb nail to scrape the paint off the floor.
There is probably something easier to do this, but it's what worked for me!
Good Luck!

When we ripped up the carpet, there was paint all over the floors. It had been there for al least 11 years.
I used a pledge wipe wrapped around a putty knife. Just be careful that the edges don't scratch the floor.

I just spent last week getting paint off my wood floors after the painters left.....Good Housekeeping recommended Orangeglo Hardwood Cleaner and a putty knife to get the paint off.....it worked for me....but get knee pads if you have a lot of paint to get off! good luck
