How can you tell if DC has the runs?

He's only 7 months but has been going more frequently and much "mushier" (sorry TMI) He hasn't tried anything new to eat but he has been in pain from teething, is there any connection?

Definitely a connection. This happens to Ava when she's teething hard core.

Thanks! He's finally gotten his 2 bottom teeth (at once) and I think the top two are going to show up. He has had a slight fever too. Is there anything I should be doing for the runs?

Nope, not if it's just mushy like that. If you give him water, you might want to make sure he's drinking enough of it. As long as it's not liquidy poop (TMI), it's fine. Just watch his fever, but usually, Ava gets one from teething, too.

The fever has been on and off- higher at night but not above 99-100. Thanks for the info!

the runs and fever are very common in teething, poor babyChat Icon
for the fever tylenol for the runs make sure he is hydrated with water at least 2-4 oz a day.
