How could someone do this?(sad story warning)

This story of little Gabriel saddens me so much! The mother confessed to suffocting him and putting him in his diaper bag and putting it in the trash. She said she did it for revenge becauie she thought her boyfriend was cheating on her.

"You want to talk to girls, that's the price you pay," is what she said, those words just baffle me that those were the consequences she came to.

"When I'm safe, I'll e-mail you the exact location of dead Gabriel's little blue body, if the garbage don't come first." These words just chill me to the bone, makes me wonder if she ever cared for that little boy.

As frustrated as i get with DD, i cannot imagine suffocating or causing injury to my child, this story just saddens me and that poor little boy. I can't get his little face out of my head.

I saw this on the news this morning dh and i both sat there drinking our coffee. Sick b!tch, she should be suffocated and stuck in a bag. I dont feel bad for her. She says she was lying to the bf. Doubtful. They will have a field day with her in jail. She deserves every beatdown she gets.

I just read this too and cannot believe someone could do something so awful. Supposedly she is biPolar. Whatever. She deserves death.

The whole thing makes me sick, wither she killed him or gave him to complete strangers, its horrible! She deserves the worse punishment they can give her.

that is just disgusting. People who do that have to be missing a part of their brain or something, seriously, because I cannot imagine anyone, let alone a mother doing something so horrible to a child. That poor baby - so sad

I just hope she was lying and that the child is safe with a loving family somewhere. She deserves whatever harsh punishment she gets.

That baby is beautiful. I pray to God he is still alive and with people who love him. I wonder what his father is thinking.

Is the grandfather calling the baby "it"??

This is the first I have heard of this-how horribe.

I just can't with these stories. How people can be so cold and detached TO THEIR OWN CHILD no less.

for that poor sweet baby-I just wish he could have been given the basic protection and love that is due any child brought into this world

I can't deal with stories like this. How? How how how can someone do something like this to a baby? To a child? To a tiny defenseless child?

Beyond disgusting. At first I thought she just deserves death, but maybe a lifetime of beatdowns and worse in jail would be better.

A similar case in my family happened. A family member murdered her 3 yo son in a horrific way (and DS looks just like him )). She wanted baby #2. DH told her no. She got PG anyway. DH told her he refused to acknowledge the newborn. She had severe PDD. She called him at work to tell him that she killed HIS son. She is now in a psychiatric institution. She lost it! Did not recover either. Will never get out! DH did not get custody of baby #2. He was actually investigated about it.

It happened 25 year ago. I still think about it. It was very tragic and traumatic.

You know what gets to me, above all else?

The way my DS looks at me. I am his entire world. He trusts me above anyone else. He TRUST me to keep him safe and protected.

To think that this poor little boy looked at this psychotic woman in the same way.

I can't even think about him looking at her in that way as she took his life.

I'm not very religious...but I believe there will be swift and appropriate payment for what she did, even if not in THIS lifetime...
