How di I tell if a pineapple is ripe?
I bought one yesterday and I'm not sure how to tell if it's ripe or not.

Turn it over and smell the bottom. It should smell sweet and be a little soft.

If the center stem pulls out easily it's ripe. If it's hard and you have to tug, wait a few days and try again!

Okay, this is what I did in the store and it came out easily - now I just have to go smell it.
