how do I clean the walls?
My walls are filthy! Thanks to my dog who walks right up against them with his droopy cheeks!
How do I clean them? I tried a few things and it leaves a mark on the paint.
Any suggestions?

I use the magic eraser on my walls and they come out great.

The magic eraser left marks on the wall! Like it erased the paint!

was it glossy or flat paint? I think it works best on flat paint.
On glossy paint, I use vinegar and water with a little rubbing alcohol.

The magic eraser leaves marks, like it is scratching whatever surface. I don't like to use it because of this.
On both glossy paint (oil based) and eggshell finish (latex) I use Mr. Clean and water, with a sponge. Follow it up with a dry cloth.
If you have a stubborn mark, you could try a bit of baking soda on a damp sponge, then rinse with water and dry.
Baking soda doesn't scratch.
