How do I go about stealing a daycare staff?
I'm targeting one person in particular, I'd like to see if she would be interested in possibly being our nanny. Should I ask about babysitting Roman outside of daycare first? How should I handle this? Has anyone done this before?

I would start with the babysitting. Then ask her when she's at your house, if she or anyone she knows would be interested in a full time position. Say you're going to start interviewing. You'd be willing to offer (x) dollars.
Keep in mind, what usually stops them is the lack of benefits.

I've done it. I just always was real chatty with her and one day I asked her to call me when she got home.

I know that some daycares have their staff sign waivers that they won't do that - its a little iffy - but good luck!

She's pretty young so I'm hoping she's still under her parents.

Approach her to babysit, than you will get a feel for her situation. The problem that I have with girls this young, is that they are frequently in transition (i.e going to school part time or taking a year off). Good luck
