how do I time contractions?
Do I start timing the start of the contraction to the end of it?
and then time the space of time where there is no contraction pain?

Re: how do I time contractions?
My lamaze teacher said you time it from the beginning of 1 contraction to the beginning of the next contraction.

Re: how do I time contractions?
I am using one of those online timers right now & they average about 40 second long every 6 min. I'm calling the Dr after a few more.

Re: how do I time contractions?
In my labor and delivery class, they said if you have contractions every 5 minutes for 1 minute for one full hour, that means you are in labor and should go to the hospital. You are having contractions every 5 minutes or less right? how long does each contraction last?

Re: how do I time contractions?
I'm no dr but if that pattern keeps up, I would go to the hospital.
