how do maternity sizes work

my sis is normally a size 2/4

she's 14 weeks pregnant
what size would she be and does it change as months pass???

what are some chic maternity stores

most of them will have sizing charts and say that it follows your pre-preg size- so far i have found everything to be a bit bigger- but i am also not that far along- so im guessing that it is bigger so i have room to grow into things as my belly grows

So far i have gotten a ton of stuff from old navy, ann taylor loft, gap and a few shirts from Target
