How do the Children's Place sizes run?
DS will be 4 months old on Sunday. At his 2 month appointment, he was 22 or 23 inches (25th percentile) and 13 lbs 1 oz (75th percentile). He's at least 17 lbs by now, but I have no idea how tall he is. He's in 3-6 month clothes. He just started to outgrow the 0-3 month two piece outfits. He can easily fit into clothes when he's significantly above the weight limit b/c he's on the shorter side.
SIL's wedding is at the end of May. I was thinking about buying something for the wedding from there, but I have no idea how their clothing runs. The size chart says the 6-9 month clothes are 25-27 inches and 15-18 lbs. Are their height and weight estimations accurate? Even though he'll be over 18 lbs by then, do you think he'll fit into their 6-9 month clothes? I doubt he'll be taller than 27 inches. I assume he'll be close to outgrowing all of his 3-6 month clothes by then.

Re: How do the Children's Place sizes run?
ha ha I find they run on the big side.
I can get away with shirts being true to age, but he will always grow into them and pants I always get a size or two smaller.
Example...my son is 22 months old, kinda average to skinny.
he can still fit into 6-9 month Childrens place shirts!!!!!
The 18 month pants fit, are sometimes a bit big. The 24 month ones ARE HUGE, I mean like tremendous, yet he wears from say BRU or Target 24 month pants....
I think it depends on how your child is shaped as well.

I find they run very small for DD. She's only 22 months and fits into their 3T stuff.

I love how the fit. I think they run a little small though.
My DS is short and pudgy and they fit him well.

Re: How do the Children's Place sizes run?
see my dd is a lil on the big side...lol....and well childrens place and the gap are the two stores that i feel she will get really good use out of the clothes mainly bc they start out, maybe not big, but true to size with a little room to grow
the place that I found isn't the best for dd bc they run much too small is old navy

Re: How do the Children's Place sizes run?
For the most part, I find they run small, especially t-shirts. Then sometimes they surprise me and run large. I really think it's what you buy there.

They run small! Very small IMO. My DD is not even 4 and she's in the children's size 4 or even a 5 there.

Re: How do the Children's Place sizes run?
DS is very tall and thin... (at 5 mo, he was 29.5" and 19.7lbs?) I think childrens place stuff is longer than carters... ex. footy pjs. I also think children's place is a smidge narrower relative to the length (a better fit for DS) DS is currently a bit taller and heavier, and is wearing size 18 mo children's place pants (still a smidge long, but perfect in the waist) and 2T sweaters... the same sizes as old navy
I agree with others... I find their tops smaller than their pants
I think it's really important for people to explain how the clothes are big/small... are they too narrow or too short? or too wide/too long?

Re: How do the Children's Place sizes run?
I think they run small. DD is 16 months and she's in 3T. You need to look at the weight and length.
But DD has always been big. So I don't know.
