What low fat way do you cook them? I just bought cauliflower, not sure what to do with it! I would love to fry it, MMM but that would defeat the purpose of eating healthy!

I usually steam the cauliflower then sprinkle just a little bit of bread crumbs over it for a little taste. (for a head of cauliflower I would say I use about 1-2 tbs of bread crumbs)

I steam them in the steamer and then spray I can't believe its not butter on it. If I need my dairy intake I throw some low fat mozzarella on it or Parmesan cheese.

For cauliflower we chop into clumps and coat in 1 tablespoon olive oil and sprinkle with garlic salt.

Roast it in the oven, on 425 for about 15 minutes, or until it softens to your liking.

It's yummy.

you can also boil them, mash them, and throw some parmesan cheese, pepper, and other spices for a low carb version of mashed potatoes!

That sounds like it could be tasty!!

I don't eat caulliflower Chat Icon For everything else I usually just spray a pan with non-stick spray or use some olive oil and stir fry with a little bit of salt and garlic.

I usually steam the veggies because it's quick.

I do this often with cauliflower. DH is not a potato person, so I substitute cauliflower for the potato. Also for some added flavor, instead of using water to boil it, I'll use low sodium chicken broth.
