How do you feel about the Bumbo?

Dd is 5 months old and I want a place for her to sit. If you have it, do you like the Bumbo? What about the tray?

thought the tray was horrible. unless they have re-designed it since i used it. it never fit. the bumbo itself was fine. i didn't use it half as much as i thought i would but it came in handy here and there. i think DD sat up unassisted (with lots of pillows around her!) by 6.5 months so that may be why.

DH loves to poop in his. So when we have issues I put him in there. Otherwise its good. His thighs get caught up, he's a chubba.

I really like the bumbo for my 5 month old DD...she enjoys sitting up in it. I dont like the tray- I dont like the way it fits on the seat.

We loved our bumpo with the tray so we could give her toys that she could play with and they wouldn't fall on the floor. She could sit with dh and I on the couch. . If we went to friends homes, we would always bring the bumpo with us so we can sit it down and she would be entertained, she loved looing straight ahead at everything and everyone :)

What works very well with the tray are those toys with suction cups on the bottom, I would suction it to the tray and it kept DD busy for long periods of time :)

I got one on clearance at BBB and Sadie likes it. It's good for sticking her in for short periods of time like getting her bottle ready and sometimes when we eat dinner.

Chelsea doesn't love it or hate it, I put her in it for a few minutes and she's fine but she's unamused....

I waited until the required age to put DS in it and when I did the section for the legs was too tight for his chubby legs, lol..

DS loved it! we used it from about 3-6 months.

I also got one on clearance at BBB. DS likes it but I don't use it too much. I think it's a waste to spend $40 on it but if you can get it cheap I'd go for it.

DS is not crazy about it. I use it for short periods of time as well, or to feed him his cereal in. I feel like he is always leaning out of it.

What is the required age? My DD is 3 months and my DH is itching to use it.

DD loves it, she'll sit in there for a really long time. DS doesn't really care for it, but he doesn't have as good upper body control as DD.

I don't have the tray.

My DS loved it.

I was really lucky to snag one from our Buy/Sell/Swap thread and it was perfect b/c I do think $40 is kinda steep for osmething that DC only uses for a few months

a friend gave me hers and DS hated it... i kept it though and will try it with my next one.

DD doesn't love it and doesn't hate it. It's a good place to put her when I have to prepare a bottle, or on the rare occassion we can eat dinner.

I loved it. We put Lily in it to play, for pictures, to entertain her while we were doing stuff, put her on the table with us in it when we ate dinner, put her in it on the counter while we made dinner....etc.

I have the Prince Lionheart BeBe Pod Plus. I like that much better. Has larger leg holes for bigger babies. DD loves it. Comes with tray and toy, and two removeable tray liners for food. And it has a seatbelt so they dont fall backward.

Definitely not inlove with it for either of my kids. My DD outgrew it fast because of chunky legs and my DS spits up in it alot so I hardly use it. Take it or leave it...The BeBe Pod looks better

I wanted it so bad I thought it was such a cute thing. DS barely uses it and a lot of times for some reason it makes him spit up. Everytime I put him in it he throws up his feeding. I haven't used it lately.
