How do you get on the list for adopt a child for the holiday?
My really good friend lost her dh at 40 leaving 3 children behind 10, 8 and 6 and she just started working and times are extremely tough. I noticed that someone had mentioned this below and I didnt know who I would call. Anyone have any info...

Paulette, I always do the adopt a kid programs so maybe I could adopt one of them? Maybe other's on the board would like to also

You can call Toys for Tots and request that they bring the family toys that are age appropriate.

I tried calling NY cares and they told me their lists are filled up. I will try toys for tots.

Toys for Tots doesn't have an qualification requirements. They will bring toys to anyone that asks.
