How do you get through work all day with the nausea?

The nausea has been pretty aweful the past few days. I just want to go home and sleep to get through it. What did you do to cope all day at work?

It sucks and there was really nothing you can do for it to go away. You can try crackers. It will go away eventually

With my 1st pg, I sipped gatorade all day long..
With my 2nd pg, I sipped coca cola all day long.

While sipping, I never let my tummy go empty, I constantly snacked on things that were appealing to me. Saltines made me gag!

sometimes I even put my head on my desk for a little bit.

With my 2nd pg, my prenatals were making the sickness worse, so I took flintstones instead with the ok from my doc.

with my first pregnancy I sucked on a piece of candy (sugarless of course) and it worked!

there is nothing u can really i would try to eat small snacks throughout the day and i let me teachers know that i needed little breaks through the day or if i was late getting a child it was b/c of the m/s. luckily everyone was pretty accommodating or else i don't know how i woudl have gone the 9 months working with m/s

Try to keep your stomach full with light snacks, maybe a piece of cheese on some crackers, a yogurt, a granola bar etc.

Its hard but I kept busy and snacked on crackers here and there all day.

Thanks everyone. I got some saltines from the cafeteria and I am snacking on them. They are helping. I am going to buy a huge box of them today after work to keep at my desk.

It just started kicking in last week, so I feel your pain...
It helps to eat a little something pretty much all day.

And when I can't take it, I go to the bathroom and put my head against the wall and close my eyes for a minute or two...or five.

It depends. I just finished eating some oatmeal, which generally works in the morning for nausea (but not in the afternoon ). In the afternoon I either take a walk outside in the fresh air (which doesn't always get rid of the nausea, but makes me feel like I did something healthy for the baby), eat some saltines, or pretzels (which work better for me than saltines), or anything else I can get my hands on.

Saltines helps or the oyster crackers helps also.
