How do you go about gettign the best flight and hotel deals in Vegas?
Those who went, how did you book your flight and accommodations? Did you do it all together or separately and what site did you guys use?

I check both - vacation packages (through Expedia, Orbitz, AAA, etc) and booking seperately through the airline and hotel websites. The airlines have vacation packages to check out too. It takes a while but I like to know I got the best price available.

I am leaving for Vegas tomorrow ( ) and doing 2 people 6 nights paying ~$800 for airfare AND hotel. (MGM and Las Vegas Hilton combo) That's $800 total, not per person.
Tips:
1. Check out Fatwallet.com, Travel Forums, Vegas hotel codes for promotional codes.
2. Trip Advisor forums. I had already booked MGM at what I thought was a ridiculously cheap price, and someone posted a 50% off sale, I saved $144 rebooking my reservation.
3. Book airfare VERY early.

when we went to Vegas in 07, I booked thru Expedia.. I booked my show tickets thru Vegas.com
