Whats the best hotel to stay at in Vegas?
DH and i are considering going to vegas in the fall. whats the best hotel in your opinion and why?

I loved Bellagio: good location on the strip (sorta in the middle), really comfy bed, nice room (had a view of the water fountain show - so pretty), good restaurants (Todd English's Olives was yummy), pretty nice pool.

I've been there 2x with DH on his business trips. Both times we stayed in the Venetian and I certainly had no complaints!

I'm not sure you could go wrong staying at any of the main hotels on the strip
Bellagio
Venetian
Paris
NY, NY
etc

I've stayed in NYNY and MGM Grand. I would stay at either again but I loved the MGM, I didn't think I would b/c it's so huge but we stayed in the West Wing part and it was so new and comfy!

We stayed at Mirage in August and it was fabulous!!
I have also stayed at the Monte Carlo...which is also nice..just not as many amenities and fun things as Mirage.

We stayed at the Venetian and loved it  It's in a pretty good location for visiting other hotels and they have great shopping.
The best casino was Mandalay Bay though. We did not win much at any of the others.
We did not see the rooms but the Wynn looks nice too

On the cheap- Monte Carlo= Very nice staff, decent rooms, cheaper tables
My favorite- Venetian- all rooms are suites, pool is open ALL NIGHT, good restaurants.

We stayed at the Rio both times we went. All the rooms are suites and it was beautiful.
It is off the strip...off the corner of Ceasar's so if you want to be on the strip it may not be for you.

me too!! they totally redid part of the hotel- the "west wing":... the rooms are great- nice super confy beds, bose stereo, nice flat screen TV, AND a TV built into the bathroom mirror so you can watch while you dry your hair
there was a lot of great shopping and restaurants right in the hotel, and its right on the strip, so pretty close to stuff...

I stayed at the MGM Grand many years ago. I loved it, except it took FOREVER to walk to the pool. That place is as big as a city!

Kevin took me to the Bellagio for my birthday and when we got there we got upgraded to the PENTHOUSE SUITE!!!!!
We have no idea how it happened, but it was amazing!!! 3 bathrooms, living room, dining room.......when we left we asked how it happened, and they said it was odd, that never happens.....
The room was over $1,000/night. 
Tell Alex you wanna stay there.
The Bellagio is beautiful no matter what, with the pumpkins all set up for fall.....beautiful!

We stayed at both of these as well and like Mirage better as well. Mirage has The Hotel and that was a great place because we got a beautiful suite there! We also stayed at Excalibur and Bally's. Out of all 4 we loved The Hotel (that is the actualy name of the hotel) @ Mirage the best.

We stayed at Paris for our honeymoon. It's absolutely gorgeous. And they have a fantastic spa!!

Any hotel that is located in the middle of the strip (Caesars, Paris, Bellagio and Mirage) are great choices.

I stayed at MGM and loved it, but if money wasn't an option I would stay at the Venetian or the Bellagio!

I agree with the Bellagio... stayed there 2 yrs ago and it was AMAZING! The beds are so comfy and the shower was to die for!! Great location on the strip too.
