How do you make baked ziti crispy on top? (making it tonight!)
I could never figure it out .. . I try leaving it in a little longer to make the top a little burnt but it never does the trick. How do I make the top crispy?

Yup, broil for the last few minutes, but watch it carefully, it burns quickly! Also, sprinkle a little grated cheese on top before broiling.

Thanks!! I just read this and just finished dinner so I'll have to try the grated cheese idea next time, that sounds delicious!!
Anyway, it cooked PERFECTLY by baking it and then broiling for a few minutes! It was delicious!!!!

I usually keep it covered with foil until it's bubbling and for the last 10 minutes, raise the temp and remove the foil. I haven't done broil on it but I would watch it very closely if you do.
