How do you make extra money?
Aside from working a regular job, is there a way you make extra money on the side?

Seriously, though - I am a teacher and I tutor all year round and over the summer I work 2 jobs and bank whatever I can.

my sister's great at getting web-work on the side (working on websites, she was a web developer before kids  ) she gets TONS of work and very often has some for me to do or passes me a project that she doesnt have time for.
It's usually something more simple than what she does. and they are pretty decent paying projects. done from home, on my own computer.
I havent tutored in a while. any teachers have suggestions? is it usually by word of mouth?
and Im now looking into teaching Italian classes to children and eventually to adults as well.

tutor with a tutoring center and privately private is usually $50.00 an hour, it is much less at the tutoring center, but still worth it
and I actually babysat last week on Friday- someone posted that they needed a sitter- I got $50.00 for two hours and the three boys 8,7,6 were very good for me.. it was such easy money! I figured, I wasn't doing anything between 4:30-6:30...why not? and it really worked out...

I'm doing wedding coordination on the side. Before that, I worked part time on a mobile crisis team to earn extra $$.

In the past, I spoke to my boss regarding my salary & got raises.
Now I don't do anything.
If I was looking to do something, I would ask myself:
-Do you have thing you like to do?
-What kind of spare time do you have(nights/weekends)?
- Do you truly want a part-time job or are you looking to start your own business?
From what I can see, hosting children's parties is a cash cow. You pay for a room, paint it bright colors, come up with creative ideas & pay college/high school students to implement them.
Long-term, I would do some kind of eldercare option since our population is aging so rapidly.

I have always done more than my regular job my whole life.
I work in a dental office just about full time, I can temp through an agency on my days off, easy money.
I would like to open a consulting firm for dental offices.
I did home parties when I was single & did really well with them-partylite & signature style. I actually made alot of money doing those & I loved it.
I sold Avon for a short time, I didn't sell enough to make it worth it.
A million years ago I bartended-good money but I couldn't deal with it now.
Worked as a bridal model for a wedding photographer, fun, easy money.
I did the ebay thing, selling stuff we weren't using, the kids clothes & even stuff for friends. I made a decent amount of money doing it, but it always seemed like a PITA.
I have worked for DH as a designer/salesperson, I love design & the pay was good 
I have a small design/home staging business now, I'm building it up & starting to earn good money.
I just got a job as a scrapbook instructor at Michaels, not a well paying job, but its EASY & its forcing me to make time for a hobby I love.
I'm sure there have been more, but that's all I can think of!
