how do you nicely tell family...
to STOP RUBBING YOUR BELLY LIKE ITS A MAGIC 8 BALL?????
im starting to lose my cool with people taking it upon themselves to rub away!!!!! i was ok with it for a while but now that im just unbareably uncomfortable its start to rub me the wrong way!!!! i know its like crack you see a belly and you just want to rub but i dont just run up to your chunk and rub ya know!!!

I flat out told my BIL that I didn't want him to rub my belly. He is the only one in DH's family that does it and it grosses me out. He's usually sloppy a$$ drunk too so that makes it worse. I just find it gross!!!
I would make a joke about it first and see if they get the hint,.

Uggg I know, not so much family than strange people who I know would not normally touch me are going for the rub down and it's sceeving me out, unless I invite you...don't do it!

OMG! I can't tell you how much I loathe that! I already put out a rule: if you didnt have a part in putting the baby in me and don't have a part in taking the baby out - don't touch me unless i invite you to do so. if they did, they dont hold the baby!
i skive people invading my people space so it doesnt fly for me. i've never touched a pregnant belly without being asked to do so.

no its strictly 2 people one on my side and one on dh side...they are immediate family too so i feel bad saying something but its just getting to the point where its like HEY THIS IS MY SPACE THAT YOURS STAY OUT OF MY SPACE!!! you can rub the child when she comes out all you want!!!

I feel the same way. I have come to think that DH's family thinks they will get 3 wishes if they rub my belly because that is all they do when they see me. I feel like a magic lamp!

its one thing when its a quick rub like patting her to say hi.. im ok with that.. but its when the WHOLE conversation your standing so close that your rubbing it the WHOLE TIME... like there should be a timer that goes off.. OR my favorite.. is lifitng up my shirt so that they can get a REAL feel!!!! umm hello!!! i know your my family but i dont lift up your shirt to rub your belly!!!!

Normally, I have NO problem with people touching my belly, but my one freakin cousin HAS to touch me every chance she gets. An occassional rub here and there is fine, but the second she sees me, she does the wiggly-fingers thing and makes her way right to my belly. It doesn't matter if she just touched it like 2 minutes before

I am on Lovenox so if I don't want someone to touch me I usually tell them I take daily injections into my tummy and it is very sensitive from it.
You can tell them you have PUPPS and when people touch you it aggravated your skin and makes it really itchy and uncomfortable.
If they don't take the hint then slap their hand when they do it and say no touch. If they want to act like a child you treat them like one
