How do you open an envelope?
I usually run my finger along the top, and tear it open that way. I've seen other people tear open the side. Others need a knife to make a clean cut.

At work with a letter opener because I'm not getting a paper cut from some stupid piece of business mail and at home I usually run my finger up a corner egde of a flap and go all the way across.
