Re: How do you POLITELY tell people ...
Ugh, this sometimes bothers me, too, especially when I hardly know the person, BUT I think it's worse when a MALE rubs my belly.
I have this idiot in my job that is always constantly checking women out (still checks me out even in my 'fatness'!), and constantly takes advantage of touching my belly. It REALLY pisses me off because I think he's just trying to 'cop a feel'! I told him that I don't want him touching my belly because males shouldn't be touching me period, and he hasn't since.

Re: How do you POLITELY tell people ...
I find this completely rude...stranger, friends or family!!!!
I work with my mom in the same facility and she was dumbfounded at how many women asked to: 1. see my belly (which requires me to lift up my shirt) and 2. rub it. She couldn't get over it, especially since I don't even really have a belly yet!
I don't like people touching me period, let alone when I'm pregnant and the hormones are raging.

Re: How do you POLITELY tell people ...
People do this to me all the time, yesterday was the worst. It was my last day of work and all the patients wanted to say goodbye and they all felt the need to rub my belly. i was ok with it somewhat. I just got mad when the doorman did it too. i rubbed his back and said hows your baby doing today. He looked at me like i was on drugs or something.

I might deck someone for that!!!
I've already wacked a few hands and jokingly said "No molesting the baby." But they got the hint.
