How do you put lights on the hard to reach places on your house?

I understand you need a ladder - but how do you attach the lights to the house? Also, to get from bush to bush in front of the house - you need to use extention cords - right?

This is the first year we're going to try lights!! :) thanks

Some come with clips, I know the icicle lights do.

you can use gutter clips or velcro clips to attach them to your house, other wise you can use regular cup hooks and just keep them up year round. You'll probalbly need a couple of extension cords, you don't want to many strands on the same cord.

We used the velcro clips to attach the lights around the windows. I ran outdoor extension cords because i couldnt find any of the green ones in the store. I also bought a 6 outlet stake with a timer and I have everything connected to that box. I have one other stake for the candy canes that are on the walkway, and the spiral lighted trees
