How do you store Little People Sets?

DD has quite a few and loves to play with them. I'd really like to be able to put them away as a set so the right people/animals stay with their set bet they get so bulky.

The holiday related sets I keep in the box they came in and store them with the appropriate holiday decorations.

The other sets I need to figure out how to store when cleaning up are :
Busy Day Home
Suprise Sounds Zoo with the extra zoo sets
Musical Zoo Train
Fairy Tree House
Dance n' Twirl Palace

I was thinking about getting a toy box and making it for Little People stuff only. However we are running out of room and the stuff will get all jumbled up anyway. Any suggestions?

I have all of the people, animals, and accessories in a bin next to where I put the buildings.

I have a bin that goes on the shelf. I put all the little people and their animals in that one bin. Besides she mixes them up and plays with all of them and not necessarily with the one that the correct people came with.

I'm thinking of putting most of the people in a plastic box. Poor people!
