how do you tell the difference b/t baby acne and a rash?

sasha has a lot of little bumps in clusters in various places on her face, neck and head. i thought they may be from getting breastmilk all over fer face, etc., and she also likes to burrow her head on my shoulder or chest when i hold her-- so there is a lot of rubbing.

the thing is-- it's in so many places, and the bumps are little tiny ones. they *could* be little pimples, but it could also be a rash. some areas are red, others are not.

i just don't know what to look out for and i could call my ped-- but they will probably think i am crazy. it doesn't seem to bother her, but i just want to make sure nothing is wrong.

It sounds like Acne, DD had it at about the same age. I put Aquaphor on it and it was gone in two or three days. I swear Aquaphor cures everything.

thanks-- I guess what concerns me is that it's on her head-- not just her cheeks. I can try a little aquaphor and see what happens.

Alexa has the same thing... tiny little bumps on her forehead.... SHe only had them on her forhead and now she has like one or two on her cheeks. THe Ped said it was baby acne and not to worry!
