How do you write a thank you card to someone who passed away??
My MIL's patient passed away 3 weeks ago, but she had bought the baby a gift and her niece dropped it off to MIL. I of course want to send a thank you. The card was signed from the woman who passed. I've never met these people, but they obviously cared about my MIL enough to send a gift.
I have no idea how to word this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

You can write the TY to the neice, say something to the affect of "We really appreciate the gift, your aunt's thoughtfulness and generosity means a lot to us".
And of course, send your condolences as well.
