how does everyone wash their bathing suits
hand wash or gentle cycle. Today was my last day in the pool, so I put it in the washer on gentle.
is that ok? did I destroy it

I usually put it in the washer on hand wash cycle... (extra slow/gentle) in a lingerie bag.

I hate my bathing suit so I throw it in the regular wash and in the dryer. Friggin thing won't die and force me to get another one
Lands end is indestructible lol

I hand wash it with woollite for every wash and once a week I put it in the washing machine on delicate. I only hang them up to dry.

I worked in a swimwear store for over 15 years. hand wash or gently cycle is best. do not put it in the dryer.
And If it has underwire do not put it in any machines. hand wash it and air dry.

I used to hand wash but I don't have time for that anymore. They go in the regular wash and occasionally wind up in the dryer. The only suits I've noticed it having any effect on is DD's, I notice that they fade.
