How does IUI work?
I mean, i know what it DOEs but do they wait til youre Oing and then DH does his thing in a cup and they put it in you?? How do they know when Im Oing?

Do you ovulate on your own? I don't so when I did my IUIs they had me trigger (a shot) and then come in 36 or so hours later- (Very precise). HTH... if you do ovulate on your own they probably have you track w/ OPKs and monitoring in their office.

yes O on my own but late so ive been on clomid for 3 mons and have a regular cycle on it.

I 'could' be wrong since I don't O on my own and have always done a trigger shot but they could do it one of 2 ways I think- they could either trigger you anyway when your follies look ready (and give you something so you don't O on your own) or they could have you use OPKs at home and come in for monitoring and when you get a + on an OPK they take it from there I think (sorry- not too helpful I know )
