How does twin betas double?
With a twin pregnancy, does your beta double every 2-3 days like with a singleton pregnancy or is it different?

How does twin betas double?
I'm not actually sure. All I know is my betas were through the roof high. By 6 weeks my OB said they were 30,000 and yet no heartbeat could be seen, just a sac. They didn't find two heartbeats until nearly 7.5 weeks.

Mine was tripling every 48hrs. The nurse said it was my progesterone levels that gave away that there was prob. twins in there.

Same here. They still didn't suspect twins though.

Re: How does twin betas double?
Ha! My dr said it might not be a viable pregnancy, bc although my numbers were doubling every 48 hrs, they were JUST doubling and were low. Said we wouldn't know until 6 wk appt when we looked for a heartbeat. Saw one. At 7 weeks, saw 2! So I wouldn't pay too much attention to the numbers

usually the numbers are so high to begin with that they don't double

Re: How does twin betas double?
Bored so crashing I had triplets and my betas:
12dpo: 64 14dpo: 170 17dpo: 624
With my first singleton pregnancy: 12dpo: 102 14dpo: 324
As you can see, my singleton betas were higher at the same dpo. Betas are not indicative of much other than that there's AT LEAST ONE in there. Good luck!

Same for me. He didn't suspect twins and told me it didn't necessarily mean twins. At my frist sono at 6 weeks, we saw 2 heartbeats. However, with my singleton pregnancy after the twins, my beta was super high as like 4 or 5 weeks. I was scared of twins again but there was only one in there. So you never know
