Phil and Ted, Bumbleride Twin or Double City Mini?
DC#2 is arriving in 2 weeks so we really need to get this double stroller. We were all set on getting the Phil and Ted's but we are having second thoughts last minute.
The double city mini seems to be the stroller that everyone says they want if they don't have it yet. Today we saw a Bumbleride Twin with the bassinet and it seemed so perfect for 2 kids, especially an infant and toddler.
Which would you get - Phil & Ted, Bumbleride or the City Mini?
We plan to live in the city for the first 5 months or so and will be moving out to the suburbs this summer so we need a double stroller that works in the city for a few months and then can work in the burbs as well.

I would go with the Phil and Ted or double city mini since you will be in the city for at least the first 5 months.

I love my Phil and Ted as long as I don't need to fold it.

i ADORE-i mean ADORE my bumbleride twin!! ETA i loved it when my DS was born (DD was 2) i could use it immediately with the infant carrier. and now that they are 2 and 4 i still use it. it's the perfect size-not too small/big. pretty light and easy to fold etc.

Re: Phil and Ted, Bumbleride Twin or Double City Mini?
I absolutely LOVE my Bumbleride Twin...My boys are 10.5 months apart. I started to use the stroller immediately with the little guy in the infant carrier & now that we transitioned him to his convertible, it will be even better. I have NEVER had an issue with an aisle, doorway or restaurant.
We looked at both Phil & Ted (I did not like the fact that one kid was sitting below/behind the other) & the City Mini (my older DS did not fit comfortably in the stroller)

Re: Phil and Ted, Bumbleride Twin or Double City Mini?
I just bought the city mini dbl and already love it. I have a newborn and 2 yr old also. Initially I wanted a phil & teds but tried putting DS1 in the bottom part and he barely fit (he's big), and, he flipped out...hated it down there. So there was my answer with that. I've had the single city mini with just DS since he was a few months old and have always loved it. Lasted us 15 months in the city and the last 9 months in the suburbs so I knew I'd love the dbl too. I attached the car seat adapter already and it's all working out great for both of them.

just got the bumbleride twin - love it!!! i dont know much about the phil and ted but i compared the bumbleride to the city mini double and liked the bumbleride better - more back support, and air tires. ds seemed to be sunken in the city mini even though it was in the most upright position.

I have the City Mini and the fold is great. My kids love it. My only problem is pushing it in and out of door ways has ripped the material on the side. Also one of the clips where you buckle the kids in broke. I am also very hard on things and I walk a lot. In retrospect I would still have bought the stroller, but have been more careful. As far as the seats not being upright I think that the newer model is better.
Many people where I live have the Phil and Ted. I didn't like the idea of putting one kid on the bottom. I don't have any experience with the Bumbleride. How is the fold? If you are moving to the suburbs, and are going to take the stroller in and out of the car a lot, I would make sure the fold is easy and the stroller does no take up too much room.
Good luck making a decision. I know I went crazy trying to find a double stroller.

Re: Phil and Ted, Bumbleride Twin or Double City Mini?
I have a Bumbleride Indie Twin and I love, love, love it! But, it is big and bulky...I have a Jeep umbrella stroller for when we are out and about. So, it probably wouldn't work in the city.
