How easy is it to replace a chair rail?
Or should I say, how hard is it?  We may be getting our DR painted soon and I really don't like the chair rail. Is it a big job to remove the old one and put up a new one?
Also, does anyone know how much this stuff costs?

If you do it yourself, it's pretty inexpensive depending on the type of new molding you choose and how much you need. The hardest part is leveling it to make sure it's even.
