How exactly does LH surge work??

So i usually get a positive opk for two days and usually O that second day - got my on sunday and monday and thought i O'd yesterday b/c i had really bad O pains (worse ive ever felt - like AF cramps at one point) - but today got another . Not feeling any pains/cramps today

Ive always assume i get the surge for two days b/c it just takes that long for the LH to go back down - not sure if there is a normal time frame for how long LH levels stay up. Anyone know the exact ins/outs of LH levels?

Should I assume I o'd yesterday?

Do we still need to tonight? DH said hes not sure he can since we did the last 3 nights (has low testosterone levels - sometimes trouble in that area)

Is the fact that I took clomid affect the LH levels (ex -could the levels be higher and therefore take longer to come back down )

Could the clomid be why i had such severe pains/cramps (multiple eggs?)?

I honetly dont think you have to again today if you cant The month I got my BFP this is how my LH surge went.

Monday - tested morning LH surge - that night
Tuesday - tested morning LH surge that night

Wednesday - tested morning LH surge BUT tested again when I got home at 6 and my LH surge was gone. So i knew I had already O'd and when I should.

Can you test again when you get home to see if your LH surge is up that way if it is you can but if its gone you know your good!

I agree with the PP if you bd those two days I think you are good. When I was on clomid i felt more " in tune" with my O cramping as well.
