how expensive is siding on a small cape?

it's a small franklin square cape with brick. Looking to do gray siding with the stone bottom look- I have NO idea what the range would even be. Is something like that 10-20k? more? less?

Anyone with a similar size home who's done new siding recently?

We resided our dormered cape 5+ years ago. Went with unifide. They removed all old siding and brick face & Added extra insulation and molding to top bottom windows , total was just under $14k. Everyone else was close to double the price.

Only issue I had (which is a big one but if you know beforehand it’s not a big one) is when they put all the electric back on the house (outdoor lights and sockets) they weren’t sealed properly and we had a small fire in the wall. Everything was ok and I called unified, who directed my
To their contract which stated (very tiny) thy I am responsible to have an electrician come after the job to be sure all electrical is back to code bc they aren’t electricians. It was a brawl and I won’t use them anymore because of that bc if they had stated that to me, Instead of burying it in the contract, I could have had one here to do that and it would have never happened.

Soooooo the price was right. The products is good. I’m very happy with the job. And whoever you choose, have an electrician over after you be sure all electrical is secure afterwards.

how expensive is siding on a small cape?

My parents did their rear dormered cape 2 years ago. It was about $20K.

I think part of it also depends on what type of siding and insulation you get
