How far along were you/will you be at your shower?
Sorry if this has already been asked .. just wondering what the "norm" is and if anyone has various reasons for a particular time.

34 and 36 weeks.

30 weeks which is early to me, BUt we had trouble finding a place in the month we wanted and I didnt want one after 34 weeks cause I would be uncomfortable and also have a history of pre term labor.

I will be 32 weeks. I think that is the perfect amount of time to get everything organized for the baby. I am just praying that my furniture is in by then!

37 weeks, 3 days!
Apparently my mom and sister had a hard time picking a date between family parties, my parents anniversary & Easter and they felt closer to my due date was better.
I am going to be almost done working...and possibly induced five days later. Should be interesting!

I was about 34/35 weeks. No particular reason that I know of why they choose that date.

I think 35 weeks ... and a second one possibly out of state (at IL's) after the baby is born over the summer - kinda like a meet-the-baby shower.

33 1/2 weeks at the shower. That time was the best for everyone since DH won't be around until busy season ends and they had to coordinate with a few other showers and communions.

I think I'll be about 32-33 weeks. I didn't want it to be after about 35 weeks as who knows how I'll feel then. Plus, I might go early, if the shower was held later, I might be IN the hospital! haha. Basically, I kind of dictated when they could have it so I knew I'd be up to it.

My work shower is this week, so i will be 34 weeks.
My shower with family and friends will be on feb 17th, so i will be around 37 weeks, which is kind of late, but nobody asked me about the date
