How far in advance can I make chocolate covered goodies for a party?
I'm having a party on a Sunday in a few weeks. How far in advance can I prepare the following:
Chocolate covered pretzels Chocolate dipped marshmallows Oreo truffles
??? I have a lot to do for the party so I'm trying to get as much done early as possible, but still want it to be fresh etc.
Also, would I store in fridge or just in tupperware on counter?

I would say 1 week and keep in the fridge sealed.

Not sure about how long exactly, I'd think within that week.. I can tell you that the marshmallows will get hard unless you are fully dipping them though (if you make too far in advance). Be careful with putting in & out of the fridge, the chocolate may get that white haze.

i wouldn't store them in the fridge, they will get that funky i look old chocolate look. the pretzels and the oreos will stay good if you just layer wiht wax paper in a heavy duty tupperware, not the cheapy throw away type.
As far as the truffles, id say store them in the fridge for a few days before dipping them in the chocolate...they will dip better cold anyway.
Good luck...i just made enough truffles for a 100 people...
