I say 4-5 weeks. I think much more than that is kind of weird for a child's b-day party.

I say 4-5. 7 is too far in advance, people will put the invitation away and forget about it.

OMG, seriously!!!! Im only piggy backing bc I know Anna is your friend and I dont mean this as flaming. But he's almost the same age as my son, even for a first child - why oh why are you planning the party now?

Although, to be fair, I will say - if you are planning a party at a park, the reservation lists come out early. I know at Wantagh Park, the covered area gets reserved very early. We were going to do my DD's bday party there and it was already taken when we inquired in April (for July) - it had been taken for months.

I can't help it, and laugh if you must but the next 5 months will go fast. After the 1st birthday I will not plan anymore because he's not allowed to grow up after 1. Does that sound fair?

Anna you might as well rsvp now as well...Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

And if you think i'm nuts then what do you make of this. My SIL was planning my nephew's 1st birthday party when she was pregnant with him. At least I waited until Matty was born.Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
