How far would you travel for a birthday party?

How far would you travel for a birthday party?
I don't mean for family or a close friend, but for a classmate or someone in the same day care. I'm looking into party places and although some seem like a really good choice, I think they might be kind of far. TIA.

probably 30 mins drive away but it would depend on DD and if she really wanted to go I would stretch to 1 hr drive.

my ds goes to private school 40 mintues away with kids from all over hte island. most of hte paretns will go anyplace for a birthday party since its hard to see these kids outside of school hours. but i know thats not the norm. LOL
