If you have FIOS internet try the test again and click on NY just incase you didn't the first time... If it's not near 20/5 I would call them about it..

I live in Maryland, so the location is correct. But I'm going to run it again.

OK- I figured it out- it was giving me Baltimore, but when I clicked on the dropdown for Washington DC it ran faster.

Most wireless connections are about 54MB/sec, so wireless shouldn't affect your Internet speed. Most Internet speeds are under 20MB/sec, so there is plenty of available throughput.

on wireless, you will not get a true score as wireless is much slower then being wired
That's what I figured. Out of curiosity, I re-tested with my ethernet cable directly into my laptop, and got:
