Re: How good are your cooking skills?
I get better everyday....I'm no gourmet, but I do enjoy getting recipes and trying them out and I get really proud when they come out as good as my mom's

Re: How good are your cooking skills?
I picked "im ok - learing as i go but my food is edible but not fancy"
I wished I learned before I got married and to have a picky DH (who only really like pasta and chicken cutllets), you start to run out of ideas

Re: How good are your cooking skills?
No gourmet but I'm good at it. I like creating new things or putting my own spin on recipes that I've already "mastered". It's fun.
I actually started to really enjoy cooking after we got a really good knife set - it definitely made the difference.

Re: How good are your cooking skills?
I was awful... and I mean AWFUL! I burned soup and made ramen noodles into mush!
But then when we moved into the house and I have a beautiful kitchen, it inspired me to try harder. I must say my sauce is delicious!!! And I love trying new things, small and simple things for now, but I think I am ok.

Re: How good are your cooking skills?
In the beginning, I was not really good at alL!! I was also working with cheaper things and less space! Now that I have my own kitchen, things have been SO much better. I have also started working for THe Pampered Chef, so that has also helped-I have to be good to do the cooking shows!!

Re: How good are your cooking skills?
I picked: I'm ok - learning as I go but my food is edible but not fancy.
I can follow a recipe and have it come out pretty good. I also make a home made sauce that DH loves. I really do want to improve my cooking skills.

Re: How good are your cooking skills?
I picked "i'm ok and learning as I go" - I have gotten alot better and it definitely does make a difference using nice pots/pans and the right kitchen tools. I love foodnetwork and try to get creative from watching the shows. I'm also going to take a cooking class!

Re: How good are your cooking skills?
I learned how to cook when I was 12...After 20 years you think I'd be good at it, right? I haven't poisoned anyone but I'm completely useless in the kitchen without detailed instructions.

Re: How good are your cooking skills?
I'd say I'm a pretty good cook. I am by no means a gourmet cook, but I can certainly hold my own in the kitchen.

Re: How good are your cooking skills?
I'm good at making reservations! My DH said it in his wedding vows! (that's a whole other story)
I'm good, confident and i know what I'm doing but I would love to take classes to become gourmet and I just might.
