Hmm....it depnds on the day to be honest.
On average, I'd say about a 6 or 7.

This year with no contract, a board of education that is not negotiating in good faith and three preps (two on the AP or college level), I'm not They want to make us the lowest paid teachers on LI by several thousand dollars (we are now second lowest on LI), and pay 35% of our medical.
On the plus side... great students this year AND I won't be finishing out the year due to the arrival of the twins
I'd say a 3.

I'd say a 9 1/2. I absolutly love my job. Love my class this year and couldnt ask for better people to work with. I really feel like its my home away from home.

i feel the same way - although this is my third year teaching it is still fairly new to me - i have had new preps each year and it is good - but it is definitely a JOB!

umm well I LOVE my job so Id say 8 or 9 BUTTTT I cant stand the politics and th cr*p untenured teachers have to deal with so until I get my tenure I am going to say 5

9.5.... I love working with my dad.. I just feel like sometimes people don't respect the fact that I work in a family owned business because it's not some big fancy corporate job

its in my nature to never be completely 100% thrilled with anything- but thats what keeps us striving for more, right?  
though, i might feel inclined to give it a 10 if i made a kabillion dollars and hour and only had to work 1 hour/year.

Depends on how my day is. When I come home and say no one has P!$$ed me off it's been a good day.
Overall I'd say about 5. I sometimes hate what I do and dealing with people who have no common sense but I have great co-workers and an awesome travel services director who make the day a lot easier.

5/6ish. I'm just very comfortable at my job and there is no real reason to leave. Other than I don't like it very much! But the pros outweigh the cons.

I am a teacher with a leave of abs. right now and I am working part-time for a tutoring center and I love it! I work 3 days a week for a few hours, the money stinks, but the people are great, the kids are wonderful, the atmosphere is so warm and friendly. I am going to hate having to leave... I would rate it a 9 (only cause the pay is not good)
