How has your hair changed since the Keratin treatment? Love it or hate it?

I loved the Keratin treatment when I first had it done. Now 5 weeks later I don't think I would do it again. My color seems blah and even though I can blowdry it quickly my hair feels dry.

Anyone else have any experiences to share?

I had it done 2 weeks ago and I'm really not happy with how it looks and feels now. It was great for the first week, but now it's not holding up in the humidity which is one of the main reasons I got it, and it feels gooey and takes me even longer to dry than it did before.

I had it done somewhere different last year and it was great all summer, so I guess every hairdresser does it differently. I wish I had gone back to the same person who did it for me last year b/c it feels like a waste of money for me now. I think I'm going to start washing it out and wearing my hair curly again.

I liked it for the first three weeks, now I feel like my hair is slowly going back to normal...IMO the money is not work two months..I may just go back to JHS, which I HATED how flat my hair was, butttttt loved the ease of it

Mine is almost back to normal after almost 3 months and I just made another appointment for this weekend

I had it done last year at my regular salon and it lasted 7 months for me. I loved it!

Two months ago I went to a place recommended in Koreatown and it is nowhere near as good. It started curling right away and is frizzy at the back.

My only complaint is that my hair is more greasy with the treatment. I usually only wash it every second day but the second day it looks really greasy.

I had it done last September and I'm just getting it done again next week. I probably should have done it sooner, since i could see the effects starting to wear off over the last month or 2. I loved it the whole time I've had it. I guess everyone's hair takes to it differently though. I think as long as you use the special shampoo and conditoner and only wash your hair every 2-3 days, it should last a long time!

I only had mine done about a week ago, so it's too soon to tell.

I do like that I can wash and air dry and it's not frizzy....but I still need to use a blow dryer for any real style.

If it only lasts a couple of months then I won't do it again, it's not worth the expense. But for now it's nice to not be a frizzy mess & it's soft!

I just had it done 2 weeks ago and I loved loved the way it felt the first week. I just blew my hair today and it still feels really nice but not as nice as the first week. I love the drying time is less and that it is much easier to dry. Personally I would probably keep doing it but I think it should be a lot cheaper than what salons are charging!

I wouldn't redo it right now since I'm in the pool alot with my kids, on the boat and just in general have up'd working out so I'm sweating more and I don't feel like paying the money when I'm getting tons of salt and chlorine in my hair daily.
I love it for the first month then not so much. I miss real shampoo and conditioner

It was great for helping to grow out my hair a bit.
