HOw is the weather in Disney World during early December?

Like can I go swimming? Trying to decide if its worth spending a lot of $$$ for a really nice hotel with a huge pool or if we wont even be able to use it... TIA!

We went two Decembers ago.

It was hit or miss each day - a couple of days we wore jeans and t-shirts and a couple of days we were able to go swimming.

It's a great time to go though because the parks are relatively empty.

The nights get pretty cool though.

ETA: We were there the first week of the month.

It's like fall is in NY. Cool some days, warmer others. Pack sweatshirts for evening shows though- it gets chilly

Like other have said, the weather can be almost anything from 35-75. All the pools are heated so they are fine to go in although you will probably want to make a dash for your towel and the door when you get out.

We almost always go at the time to coincide with DH's birthday and he almost always goes in the pool.

There's definitely a wide range of possible temps (even from early morning to the afternoon) but by midday if it's sunny, it can be very warm.

I'll be there the second week of December this year. As pp said, its hit or miss. I plan on packing baithing suits and sweatshirts.

we were there last year at Thanksgiving and froze. Wish i would have packed winter coats. Watch the weather for Orlando the week before.

I agree hit or miss on the weather. I've been a few times in December. It's either 70's or 60's.

I was there in January 1 year and it was cold!!!

I've never been in December before though this year we are going for the last week in November.

We've gone in January a few times and it's been everything from 35-85. I don't bring a hevay heavy winter coat, I bring different items to layer. Tank tops and tee shirts, long sleeved t-shirts to layer, hoodies, a light fall jacket and maybe a windbreaker and vary the layers depending on the weather. the pools are really well heated. We were there during the coldest week in FL in 35 years (as you can tell if you've seen our engagement pics) and I was determined to go swimming..and we did ..at night... it was a mad rush to the towel and the warm hotel room, but it was fun! So be prepared for anything, no matter what the weather report says. Hoodies are your best friend!

We went the first week of December last year. We had a few hot days, but by the time we got back to the hotel, it was too chilly to go swimming.

The weather went from about 90 on saturday to about 55-60 on friday. It was cold.

Pack for everything b/c there is no predicting the weather.

it's hit or miss... we were there in october when i was younger and it was in the 80's. we went in october last year... wore pants and sweatshirts almost the whole time.
