How is your DC reacting to this horrible thunder?
Although I used to love thunder storms now they freak me out. I get so nervous that something is going to happen. Roman on the other hand sleeps right through all the crackles and booms no problem.

My kids love it. We were upstate at a party 2 weeks ago and there was a thunderstorm. All kids were scared except for mine. I take them down to the sound to watch the storms come across.

Megan laughs at it. The louder the "boom," the more she laughs. She LOVES to be scared, so the louder the better. Hopefully it stays like this!

The first night - my son (2) was really scared of the thunder. Kept saying no thunder and getting all nervous. But then we told him it wasn't thunder it was just a big truck passing by and he seemed to accept that. He feel asleep both nights and slept thru the storm but noth nights woke up for several hours (but after the storm was over) - not sure if he was scared still or if it is teeth.

If it starts when he's already sleeping, he doesn't even notice.
Yesterday, he was awake. He kept saying "noise - noise - noise" so I told him yes, it's thunder and I explained it to him. Then he said "off - off - off" and I had to explain why I couldn't turn it off. Then he demanded "OFF!!!!" He just doesn't like loud noises ever since he was outside with DH while DH was using the leaf blower.
