How is your office when your boss is on vacation
my boss has been off since tuesday and comes back on monday. since she's been come, i've been calm at work. i'm able to catch up on work. my co-worker feels the same way as i do

Depends on how my week is going.
When I have a lot on my plate my boss helps me manage and sometimes it just gives me more stress. I just feel like I cant move 2 inches without her knowing. When she is on vacation I feel like I can breath a little and use her desk for extra space so I dont have to stare at my stress all day.
If I am having a good week and the boss is vacation it's great b/c I can get up and roam for a little, chat with some co-workers without getting into trouble for something (I am always in trouble) and I get to surf around on travel websites for personal travel deals.

When I was working in the city I LOVED when my boss was on vacation (especially the summer he was away for TWO WEEKS). I was in charge but things ran very smoothly as a result and many coworkers (including my boss's boss) told me that I did a great job putting out potential fires. My old boss was too nervous and made everything into more than it was.
My current jobs are at two different places and I have different bosses. My mom is one boss and when she is out I miss her. The other one I have a great boss who keeps things in order, When she is out, we all sort of flounder.
