How long between the last bottle of the day and sleep?
How much time do you leave between the last bottle of the day and bedtime?

Re: How long between the last bottle of the day and sleep?
DS is 12 weeks, we give last bottle at 9pm, he finishes by 9:30, we burp, and walk with him over our shoulder, he gets drowsy and in bed by 10-10:30. Falls asleep 5-10 minutes later.

Re: How long between the last bottle of the day and sleep?
it really depends on how many naps DS takes during the day. For instance, today he took 2-30 minute naps, the last being 3 & DS had his bedtime bottle at 7:30 & was sleeping by 8:15

DS falls asleep during, or immediately after, the last bottle.

On a good night - right after or during her last bottle. But usually with in the hour.

Maybe 1/2 hour or so. We give him his last bottle around 7:30-8. Takes about 10-15 mins. If he passes out during he goes right down. If not we read 2 books and then he goes down.

Re: How long between the last bottle of the day and sleep?
Thanks so much for your responses. I think I need to change some things.
I think I've been doing it all wrong. When the pediatrician suggested we "wear him out" after this last bottle to get him to sleep through the night, I think we may have been over stimulating him. This has led to it taking almost 2.5 hours between the bottle and sleep.

I'd wear him out before the bottle. Distract him from crying and get him really hungry for it. He'll gulp up a lot more and get sleepy and possibly sleep longer. I hold DS upright for so long because if I put him down too soon he'll spit up and get hiccups. He'll never fall asleep with them and I'll stay awake nervous that he'll start crying over it.

Right after I burp him he goes to bed. DS is 8 months and we have been doing this since day 1.
