How long can I store raw chicken breast?
So I purchased a pack of chicken breast on Tuesday. I opened the pack on Wed and only used 2 pieces. I put the 3 pieces that were left in a bag and left it in the fridge (bottom shelf) It is now Saturday...is the chicken bad by now? Is it too late to put it in the freezer? Is it too late to eat it?

Whats the expiration date on the package? If its within the date and you had the chicken wrapped well its fine to freeze.

I would probably throw it out. I will usually keep chicken in the fridge uncooked for a max of 3 days. If it is going to be longer than that, I freeze it.

So for me it was just an extra day. Would it really make that big of a difference? Grr..Im so mad at myself for not freezing it..I hate throwing away food especially when its so expensive.
